Amidst ongoing discussions about the BJP and the RSS, RSS leader Ram Madhav has refuted claims of any discord between the two organizations. He emphasized their shared ideological foundation, and their distinct roles in politics and social service. These comments were made in light of recent reports suggesting disagreements, particularly regarding the selection of the BJP’s national president. Madhav labeled these reports as speculative, saying they often surface when other matters are scarce, intending to create the impression of conflict. He also acknowledged Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s recognition of the RSS’s centenary during the Independence Day speech. The announcement of new state presidents without a national president, and comments by RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat, fueled speculation. However, the RSS has asserted that these were merely rumors. Madhav pointed out that PM Modi’s remarks during his Independence Day address were well-received by party workers, highlighting the organization’s contributions and the inspiration provided by its volunteers.
