The Gujarat government has mobilized resources to aid families affected by the Ahmedabad plane crash. Rescue and relief operations are underway, spearheaded by Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel. Collectors are in contact with the families, and Nodal Officers have been appointed to manage insurance claims and compensation. Help desks at the Civil Hospital, managed by New India Assurance, HDFC Life, and LIC, are assisting with the claims process. DNA testing and matching are progressing, with mortal remains being returned to families. The administration is also coordinating travel and accommodation for the families, and providing support for funeral arrangements. The government is collaborating with other states to aid relatives residing outside Gujarat.
