The Supreme Court has issued a directive to all eateries, including dhabas and restaurants, located along the Kanwar Yatra routes. The order mandates that these establishments comply with the Uttar Pradesh government’s requirements and display their registration details and licenses for public view.
According to the court, “At this stage, all the respective hotel owners shall comply with the mandate of license and registration certificate as required statutorily. We make it clear that we’re not going into the issues being argued. The application stands closed.”
