A major tragedy unfolded at Piplodi Primary School in Jhalawar district, Rajasthan, on Friday, as the school’s roof collapsed, resulting in the deaths of at least four students. Multiple other students were injured in the incident. The Superintendent of Police, Amit Kumar, reported the casualties. The District Collector was also present at the site to oversee the rescue and relief efforts. Public figures reacted to the disaster; Ashok Gehlot, the former Chief Minister of Rajasthan, expressed his grief, and Prime Minister Narendra Modi described the incident as deeply saddening.
