Authorities are still searching for Sagar Kundu, a YouTuber from Odisha, who was swept away by strong currents at the Duduma waterfall on Saturday. The incident occurred during a live stream when Kundu, ignoring warnings, ventured onto rocks in the middle of the stream. Witnesses reported that a sudden surge of water from the dam overpowered him. Rescue teams, including local police, fire personnel, and ODRAF, have been engaged in search operations. Despite their efforts, Kundu remains missing. Before the accident, Kundu, along with fellow YouTuber Abhijit Behera, had been recording videos at different spots around the waterfall, including using a drone. Authorities have emphasized the importance of safety precautions when filming in potentially dangerous locations. A bag of Kundu’s belongings was recovered by search teams.
