With Bihar’s election dates drawing near, the NDA is engaged in intense discussions regarding seat allocation. Dharmendra Pradhan, the BJP’s election in-charge, along with Vinod Tawde and Samrat Chaudhary, met with Jitan Ram Manjhi. Manjhi’s party has demanded 18-20 seats. The leaders’ objective was to convince Manjhi to accept the proposed seat distribution. Despite the efforts, Manjhi’s concerns persist. The primary goal of the meeting was to finalize the strategy for seat allocation in the upcoming Bihar elections. The BJP leadership aims to present a clear plan to Manjhi. Key discussions will revolve around the seats where the BJP and its allies might directly compete or coordinate. The meeting may include an in-depth review of potential BJP seats, the party’s organizational setup, and voter sentiment. The Election Commission is yet to announce the election schedule, but it has stated that the elections will be completed before November 22nd. The JDU has requested the commission to conduct the elections in a single phase soon after the festival so that those who are away can cast their votes.
