Tragically, two individuals, including a woman, died in Tehri district on Sunday due to the heavy rain. Uttar Pradesh is also under a high rain forecast, with numerous districts affected. The IMD projects that Uttar Pradesh will receive above-average rainfall in September. Lucknow experienced substantially higher rainfall in August, and the forecast indicates a possibility of normal or above-normal rainfall in the central areas of the state, including the capital, during September.
