India and the United States held a 2+2 Intersectional Dialogue to further their strategic relationship. High-ranking officials from both countries met to reinforce cooperation in defense, security, trade, and technological advancements. Discussions also included pivotal areas like energy security, civil-nuclear initiatives, critical mineral exploration, and collaborative anti-terrorism and drug enforcement efforts. Both nations are also working towards the early implementation of a new ten-year defense partnership framework, focusing on strengthening defense industries, fostering scientific and technological cooperation, boosting operational coordination, and improving information sharing.
