Following a recent incident in Udaipur, Rajasthan, where a five-year-old boy was attacked by stray dogs, the child’s father has expressed his support for the Supreme Court’s directives on stray dogs. Dinesh Sahu, the father, shared that his son required medical treatment after the attack and described the fear it has caused within the community. He hopes that those who are protesting the Supreme Court’s orders will see these videos. The child’s mother, Preeti Sahu, recalled the event from August 14th, detailing the attack and the injuries. She has voiced concerns regarding the safety of children, emphasizing the need for governmental intervention to address the growing number of dog attacks. In addition, police reported that a group of individuals, identified as “dog lovers”, obstructed an MCD operation targeting stray dogs in Rohini, Delhi, leading to vandalism and assault.
