
Prime Minister Narendra Modi acknowledged the remarkable patriotic efforts of Jitendra Singh Rathore, a security guard from Surat, during a recent broadcast of ‘Mann Ki Baat’. Modi expressed his admiration for Rathore’s work. Rathore has been diligently gathering information about Indian soldiers who have died in service to the nation. His collection includes detailed accounts and photographs of thousands of martyrs, spanning from the First World War to the present day. The Prime Minister shared a touching story about a conversation Rathore had with a martyr’s father, highlighting the patriotic fervor driving Rathore. Furthermore, Rathore has collected soil from the feet of the parents of approximately 2,500 martyrs, demonstrating his profound respect for the armed forces and their families.
