The 26-year-old woman doctor’s death on Friday has cast a dark shadow, with her suicide note revealing harrowing accusations. Inscribed on her hand, the note detailed allegations of rape by Sub-Inspector Gopal Badne on four separate occasions, along with persistent mental and physical abuse over five months. Maharashtra’s Chief Minister, Devendra Fadnavis, has assured the public that rigorous action will be taken against those responsible. He emphasized the gravity of the circumstances, particularly the unique nature of the suicide note. “No one will be spared. Strict action will be taken,” CM Fadnavis stated, while also criticizing attempts to politicize the sensitive issue.
The victim’s family is resolute in their demand for severe penalties for the perpetrators.
