
During his visit to Germany, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin explored Classic Remise Düsseldorf, a famous hub for vintage cars, expressing his experience as a step back in time. His visit to the center, a world of classic cars, was a memorable experience.
Stalin reflected on his visit, stating that it felt like a journey into the past. From Chennai, often called India’s Detroit, to Germany, he noted the connection and historical importance of automobiles. During his visit, he had the opportunity to see the world’s first car and a famous race car.
The CM further stated that the visit to the vintage car collection felt like history coming alive, where the past and future merged. This trip is a part of a larger European tour intended to secure industrial investment for Tamil Nadu.
In a significant development, the Tamil Nadu government secured substantial investments from German companies during Stalin’s visit. These investments are estimated to exceed 3,200 crore rupees, and are anticipated to create approximately 6,000 new jobs in the state.
Among the notable investments is a 2,000 crore rupees plan by Knorr-Bremse, a Munich-based braking systems company, which will create 3,500 jobs and strengthen the engineering and railway component ecosystems in the state.
Additionally, Nordex Group, a prominent wind turbine manufacturer, will expand its operations in Tamil Nadu with an investment of 1,000 crore rupees and generate 2,500 new employment opportunities.
The Chief Minister’s current 8-day visit to Germany and the United Kingdom aims to attract industrial investment for Tamil Nadu.
