Air India has experienced another operational setback, as a flight from Delhi to Singapore was grounded due to a technical fault. Over 200 passengers were affected by the incident, being deplaned after enduring a wait of more than two hours inside the aircraft. The technical problem prompted the unscheduled disembarkation of the passengers.
On Wednesday evening at Delhi Airport, the Air India flight AI 2380, bound for Singapore, encountered issues. A malfunction in the air conditioning and power supply systems was identified as the reason for the deplaning. Passengers were taken to the terminal building after the prolonged delay. The airline staff failed to provide a clear explanation for the deplaning, leading to significant inconvenience. Several elderly passengers were among those affected.
The scheduled departure for flight AI2380, operated by a Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner, was approximately 11 PM from Delhi Airport. Passengers noted problems with the air conditioning and electrical systems. Air India has yet to comment on the incident. This incident is part of a larger trend of technical issues plaguing Air India flights. Earlier, a flight from Delhi to Indore experienced an emergency landing because of a reported fire.
