The Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) has stepped up its campaign for the 2025 Bihar Assembly Elections by announcing its lineup of candidates for 143 seats. Party scion and key leader Tejashwi Yadav will contest from the Raghopur assembly segment in Vaishali, a decision that resonates with past electoral battles. The RJD’s candidate announcement is a pivotal moment, especially considering recent reports of complexities within the ruling Mahagathbandhan alliance. With elections slated for November 6 and 11 across Bihar’s 243 constituencies and results on November 14, the RJD’s strategy is now in clearer focus. The timeline for nominations and withdrawals is also becoming critical, with October 20 serving as a crucial cutoff date for both.
