Hyderabad is mourning the loss of Maganti Gopinath, a prominent BRS leader and Jubilee Hills MLA. He died early Sunday morning at a private hospital. Gopinath, 63, had been hospitalized at AIG Hospital in Hyderabad since June 5th, following a heart attack. He was in the ICU, and his death was announced at 5:45 AM on June 8th. Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy conveyed his deep sorrow and condolences to Gopinath’s family. Former Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) also expressed his shock and grief, recognizing the significant loss to the BRS party. BRS leaders K. T. Rama Rao (KTR) and Sravan Dasoju also offered tributes, acknowledging Gopinath’s service to the people and his work in Jubilee Hills.
