Kannur district is reeling after a massive fire ravaged a shopping complex in Thaliparamba on Thursday evening. The fire originated in a toy shop on the ground floor of the three-story building at approximately 5:30 PM and spread with alarming speed to surrounding retail outlets. Firefighting operations are in full swing, with a significant number of fire tenders battling the flames. Officials reported that a full evacuation of the complex was achieved in time, preventing any injuries or fatalities.
