A family property in Mhow, Madhya Pradesh, owned by the relatives of Al Falah Group chairman Jawad Ahmed Siddiqui, faces imminent demolition. The Mhow Cantonment Board has served a three-day notice to remove unauthorised constructions at the residential property located in Mukeri Mohalla. This order comes at a critical juncture, as Al Falah University, managed by the Al Falah Group, is deeply involved in the investigation of a recent significant blast case in Delhi. Cantonment Engineer H S Kaloya confirmed that the property, house number 1371 on survey number 245/1245, has a history of non-compliance with notices issued as far back as 1996 and 1997, based on the Cantonments Act, 1924. The current notice insists on the immediate removal of the unauthorised elements. Should the occupants fail to act, the cantonment board is authorised to carry out the demolition and recover all associated expenses. The property’s owner is the late Moulana Hammad, father of Jawad Ahmed Siddiqui. Adding to the recent legal entanglements, Jawad Siddiqui’s brother, Hamood Ahmed Siddiqui, was arrested in Hyderabad for a financial fraud originating from Mhow two decades ago. The university’s connection to the blast, with the prime accused being a former student, has intensified the focus on the Al Falah Group’s broader operations.
