The Lucknow Police have confirmed that a 14-year-old boy’s suicide was linked to an addiction to online gaming, which led to a financial loss of 14 lakh rupees from his father’s account. Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) South Nipun Aggarwal has appealed to parents to carefully supervise their children’s online behaviors. The boy took his own life after being scolded by his father about the lost money, originally saved for medical expenses.
