The disappearance of Sneha Debnath, a 19-year-old student from Tripura studying in Delhi, has prompted a swift response from Tripura’s Chief Minister Manik Saha, who has ordered immediate police action. Debnath, a student at Atma Ram Sanatan Dharma College, last communicated with her family on July 7, stating she was going to meet a friend at Sarai Rohilla Railway station. Subsequent attempts to contact her were unsuccessful, and it was discovered that she did not meet her friend. Further investigation showed she was dropped off by a cab near the Signature Bridge. Extensive searches around the bridge by the Delhi police and the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) have yielded no results. The family has confirmed that her personal belongings and bank account remained untouched. The Chief Minister’s Office has addressed the issue and has directed the police to take the necessary steps.
