
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami met with Prime Minister Narendra Modi to discuss the development of Uttarakhand, seeking guidance and support for various projects. Dhami expressed gratitude for the Centre’s backing and highlighted Uttarakhand’s commitment to contributing to a Developed India by 2047 under the Prime Minister’s leadership. He presented the Prime Minister with gifts representing the state’s culture and local products. The Chief Minister proposed infrastructural improvements for key corridors, with funding from CSR initiatives. He also advocated for the development of a semiconductor hub at Nepa Farm, the extension of the RRTS to Haridwar, and the inclusion of rail route provisions in infrastructure projects. The upcoming Nanda Raj Jat Yatra was also discussed, with a request for financial assistance and environmentally conscious infrastructure. Furthermore, Dhami sought funding for the Mahakumbh preparations and approval for projects related to power infrastructure. Other topics discussed included the restoration of Chaurasi Kutiya and a proposal for a river-linking project. The Chief Minister requested approval for multiple hydropower projects. The Prime Minister assured full support for Uttarakhand’s development after inquiring about several key initiatives.
