A BJP MLA from Babina, Rajiv Singh Parichha, is under scrutiny after a video surfaced showing his aides allegedly assaulting a passenger on a Vande Bharat train. The Uttar Pradesh BJP has taken a stern stance, issuing a show cause notice to the MLA for what it considers a severe act of indiscipline. The MLA has been instructed to submit a written explanation within a week. The incident, which took place on June 19th, reportedly began when a passenger refused to give up their seat, leading to a violent confrontation at Virangana Lakshmibai station involving individuals believed to be associated with the MLA.
