
Delhi and its surrounding areas received rainfall on Monday, bringing down the temperature. The IMD has issued warnings for heavy rain and thunderstorms in several states, including Odisha, Chhattisgarh, and parts of Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan. A low-pressure system over Gangetic West Bengal is expected to trigger widespread showers. The monsoon season is causing significant problems, especially in the hill states, with landslides and fatalities. The weather department has issued red and orange alerts in many states, urging people to take care. Warnings have been issued for heavy rain in Northwest, West Coast, and Northeast India in the coming days. Furthermore, Uttarakhand, East Rajasthan, Jammu-Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, and Uttar Pradesh are expected to experience heavy rainfall. The IMD forecasts rainfall in South Interior Karnataka, Kerala & Mahe, Coastal Karnataka, and Telangana during specific periods in July.
