A deadly landslide in West Sikkim’s Upper Rimbi area, within the Yangthang Constituency, has resulted in a grim situation. The disaster, which happened at midnight, has claimed the lives of four people. Three died at the scene of the landslide. Rescue teams, including police, local villagers, and SSB forces, successfully evacuated two injured women. However, one of the women died from her injuries at the District Hospital. The other is still in critical condition. Authorities are actively searching for the three individuals who are still missing.
