The Delhi police have been granted an extension of two days to hold businessman Samir K Modi, as directed by the Saket Court. The court also ordered an inquiry into Modi’s complaint, with proceedings held privately. Modi was detained at the Indira Gandhi International Airport after an LOC was issued by the New Friends Colony Police Station, leading to his arrest on rape charges. The charges are based on a complaint filed on September 10, 2025, by a woman alleging a relationship with Modi dating back to 2019.
