A woman was murdered in Sangli, Maharashtra, with her husband identified as the primary suspect. The incident occurred on Thursday morning when Pintu Patil attacked his wife, Shilwanti Pail, with a bamboo stick. The couple resided in Hanumannagar, Sangli, along with their two children. Marital issues had previously prompted Shilwanti to seek refuge with her sister in Pune. Upon her return, a confrontation resulted in the fatal assault and Patil’s subsequent flight with their children. The police have initiated a thorough investigation into the circumstances of the murder.
