The Deputy Speaker of the Assam Legislative Assembly, Numal Momin, has put forward a proposal to create a Zubeen Garg Memorial Trust. This initiative aims to channel support towards the welfare of the poor, widows, orphans, and other marginalized individuals in Assam. The trust would also focus on aiding students with scholarships, thereby ensuring that Zubeen Garg’s memory continues to benefit society.
