The Asia Cup 2025 final will see India and Pakistan clashing, a historic event as it’s the first time in 41 years they will meet in the final. India, having already won two matches against Pakistan, is aiming to clinch the title. Pakistan, on the other hand, is looking to reverse their fortunes against the Men in Blue. The India-Pakistan matches are known for high tension and controversies.
Ahead of the highly anticipated final, former Pakistan cricketer Wasim Akram shared his views. He believes Pakistan’s success hinges on their bowling performance.
Akram hopes Pakistan’s bowling will be at its best. He recognized India as the favorite but emphasized the unpredictable nature of cricket, where a single outstanding innings or bowling spell can change the game. He encouraged the Pakistan team to be confident and play intelligent cricket.
He added that taking early wickets of Abhishek and Gill would be a critical move to put India on the defensive. Akram expects a closely fought match and hopes the better team wins.
