The duo of Yuki Bhambri from India and Michael Venus from New Zealand have earned a spot in the men’s doubles semifinals at the US Open 2025 after a victory over Nikola Mektic and Rajeev Ram, seeded 11th. The match, played on Court 17 in New York, concluded with a score of 6-3, 7-6, 6-3. Bhambri, ranked 32 in the world and the highest-ranked men’s doubles player from India, has created history by reaching his first Grand Slam semifinal. The next challenge for the Indo-Kiwi pair will be against Neal Skupski and Joe Sailsbury from Great Britain. Bhambri previously reached the pre-quarterfinals at the US Open last year alongside Albano Olivetti.
