
India concluded their CAFA Nations Cup debut with a commendable third-place finish, overcoming Oman in a thrilling penalty shootout at the Hisor Central Stadium. The match, tied 1-1 after extra time, saw India’s perseverance pay off as they edged past the higher-ranked Oman with a 3-2 score in the shootout. The Blue Tigers’ performance was marked by resilience and a strong display in their first participation in the Central Asian tournament.
