
Neeraj Chopra added another title to his name by winning the Neeraj Chopra Classic 2025 in Bengaluru. His winning throw of 86.18 meters in the third round led him to victory. The event, which was held at the Sree Kanteerava Stadium, saw Julius Yego from Kenya secure the second position, while Rumesh Pathirage from Sri Lanka took the third spot. Chopra faced a challenging start, fouling his first attempt, but he recovered quickly, achieving the winning distance. The event featured top javelin athletes, and was co-organized by JSW Sports and Neeraj Chopra. World Athletics awarded the competition ‘Gold Status’. Notable participants included Curtis Thompson (USA), Martin Konecny (Czechia), and Thomas Roehler (Germany).
