The Barbados Royals, aiming to chase down a target of 151, required 14 runs from the last six balls, with four wickets still in hand. Rassie van der Dussen and Daniel Sams were at the crease facing Jason Holder. Van der Dussen hit a six on the first ball, and he took a single to give the strike to Sams. The Royals needed seven runs from four balls. Holder then delivered a wide. Sams took two runs off the third ball, and one run each off the fourth and fifth balls. With the Royals needing two runs from the final ball, Holder dismissed Daniel Sams LBW, securing the victory for his team. Earlier, St. Kitts had a poor start.

Bidaisee then played crucial roles in stabilizing the innings, stitching together a vital 74-run partnership for the sixth wicket. Holder remained unbeaten, scoring 53 runs from 30 balls, which included a boundary and five sixes. N. Bidaisee contributed 30 runs from 23 balls, with two boundaries and a six. Mohammad Rizwan added 39 runs off 36 balls, including four fours and a six. St. Kitts & Nevis Patriots reached a total of 150/7 in their allotted 20 overs. Ethan Bosch took three wickets for the Barbados Royals, while Daniel Sams and Chris Green each claimed two wickets. In their chase, the Barbados Royals had a strong start.
Quinton de Kock and Brendon King provided a solid foundation for the Barbados Royals, sharing 42 runs in 32 balls for the first wicket. However, the Royals’ innings faltered after the dismissal of Brendon King, with two more wickets falling in the subsequent 18 balls. Rassie van der Dussen and Sherfane Rutherford displayed commendable effort, but their contributions were insufficient to secure the win. Van der Dussen remained unbeaten on 37 off 27 balls, which included two boundaries and a six. Brendon King scored 29 runs off 22 balls, hitting one four and three sixes. Rutherford scored 25 runs from 20 balls, including a four and two sixes. Captain Rovman Powell was dismissed for just 16 runs. The Barbados Royals were ultimately restricted to 149/7 in their 20 overs, losing the match by a single run. Jason Holder, Waqar Salamkheil, and N. Bidaisee each picked up two wickets for St. Kitts.
