Cristiano Ronaldo faced another setback in his quest for a trophy with Al-Nassr, as the team lost in the Saudi Cup Final against Al Ahli. After a 2-2 draw, Al Ahli won on penalties. This defeat adds to Ronaldo’s growing list of final losses with Al Nassr, including the Saudi Cup Final 2024 and Kings Cup 2024, both against Al Hilal. Despite individual brilliance, team success has been hard to come by for the Al-Nassr star. His last international title was the 2025 Nations League. His most recent club triumph was in 2021 with Juventus, when he helped them win the Coppa Italia 2-1 against Atalanta. Ronaldo joined Al Nassr in 2023 following his departure from Manchester United. At the age of 40, Ronaldo continues to play, demonstrating his abilities. Prior to this final, Ronaldo had scored 99 goals in 111 games for Al Nassr, with his 100th goal marking a milestone. He didn’t reach 100 goals at his first club, Sporting CP.
