
The Outer Delhi Warriors triumphed over Purani Dilli 6 by a margin of 82 runs in a DPL Season 2 match at the Arun Jaitley Stadium. The Warriors showcased a strong bowling effort, with Suyash Sharma and Shaurya Malik leading the charge. After batting first and scoring 149, the Outer Delhi Warriors’ bowlers quickly put pressure on Purani Dilli 6. Suyash Sharma’s spin proved particularly effective early on, as he took three wickets in the powerplay, which included key batsmen. Purani Dilli 6 quickly found themselves at 31/4. The middle order was unable to recover, as wickets continued to fall, including a run-out and a double-wicket over by Shaurya Malik. Suyash Sharma added another wicket to his tally, while Harsh Tyagi contributed to the dominance. Purani Dilli 6 was eventually bowled out for 66 in 14.3 overs. In their batting innings, Outer Delhi had a good opening stand from Priyansh Arya and Sanat Sangwan, but later saw a decline in their middle order. Udhav Mohan’s five-wicket haul for Purani Dilli 6 put them at bay. Despite this, Siddhant Sharma and Harsh Tyagi added valuable runs to lift their team to 148. Suyash Sharma and Shaurya Malik’s bowling prowess made sure that Outer Delhi’s score was enough to secure their victory.
