Having won the toss, South Delhi Superstarz chose to bat first, setting a target of 186 runs. The West Delhi Lions’ opening pair, Krish Yadav and Ankit Kumar, responded emphatically, compiling a stunning 158-run partnership in just 14 overs. Krish Yadav played a fine innings of 67 from 42 balls while Ankit Kumar was in devastating form, scoring 96 off 46 balls.
South Delhi Superstarz started strongly, with Kunwar Bidhuri (42 off 27) and Sumit Mathur (33 off 29) forming a solid 74-run partnership at the top of the order. Captain Ayush Badoni contributed a valuable 48 from 25 balls to keep the innings moving through the middle overs. Ultimately, the Superstarz managed to score 185/7 in their 20 overs.
The West Delhi bowlers regrouped in the concluding overs, preventing South Delhi from adding a substantial final flourish.
