Piqué is expanding his Kings League, a seven-a-side football competition with esports-inspired rules, into the MENA region. This venture, in collaboration with Surge, aims to cater to the enthusiasm for both football and esports in the Middle East. Piqué sees esports as a burgeoning sector offering numerous opportunities. He praised Saudi Arabia’s forward-thinking approach in targeting a young audience through esports.
