A recent video by Hasin Jahan, the wife of Indian cricketer Mohammad Shami, has sparked controversy and drawn criticism from his fans. The video, posted on her Instagram account, features a threatening tone and has generated significant discussion. The content of the video and the caption accompanying it have led many to speculate about the intended target, though no names are mentioned.
In the video, Hasin Jahan asserts, “Don’t take me for granted,” implying that she is not someone to be underestimated. She contrasts her methods with others, stating that while some use their appearance, she uses her words. The caption further hints at her grievance, suggesting that when she speaks out, the other party uses media to defend themselves and portrays themselves as vulnerable, seeking sympathy.
The reaction from Mohammad Shami’s fanbase has been swift, with many expressing their disapproval. Comments range from accusations of instigating problems to questioning her reliance on Shami’s financial support. One commenter went as far as to call her an “aunty” and accuse her of living off the money provided by Shami.
The Calcutta High Court has mandated that Mohammad Shami provides 4 lakh rupees per month to Hasin Jahan. Out of this amount, 2.5 lakh rupees are designated for their daughter, and 1.5 lakh rupees are for Hasin Jahan’s personal expenses. However, Jahan has previously stated that the amount is inadequate due to inflation, mentioning that she had initially requested 10 lakh rupees.
