
The rivalry between India and Pakistan is set to continue with another cricket match, amidst ongoing tensions from the Asia Cup 2025. The previous group stage match saw a controversy arise after the Indian team did not shake hands with the Pakistani players, leading to intense discussion. Pakistan had even considered withdrawing from the tournament following the incident. Now, these two teams are preparing to face each other once again.
Both India and Pakistan have qualified for the Super 4 stage, and the upcoming match is scheduled for September 21 at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium. India advanced to the Super 4 after a strong showing in Group A, while Pakistan secured its place in the next round. India has so far won both its matches.
Pakistan’s group stage concluded with two wins and one loss, securing them second place with four points. UAE’s campaign was unsuccessful, managing only one victory from three matches, while Oman was eliminated after two initial defeats. Oman still has a match to play against India.
In the group stage, India won against Pakistan in a dominant fashion at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium. Pakistan scored 127 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in 20 overs. India reached the target in 15.5 overs, losing only 3 wickets. Considering their previous performance, India appears to have an advantage in the upcoming match.
