The BCCI has initiated a new sponsorship strategy. The base price for sponsoring Team India has been raised, meaning any new sponsor will pay more. For bilateral series matches, sponsors will pay 3.5 crore rupees, and for ICC and Asia Cup tournaments, the fee is 1.5 crore rupees. The BCCI’s decision is expected to generate over 400 crore rupees. The sponsorship deal with Dream11 has ended. The BCCI is looking for a new sponsor, with the team potentially playing in the Asia Cup without a sponsor. The new sponsorship is for three years and will cover 130 matches, including the T20 World Cup 2026 and the ODI World Cup 2027.
