Ben Stokes is looking forward to Jofra Archer’s return to Test cricket, despite differing opinions from Michael Vaughan. Vaughan has stated that Archer does not deserve a place in the playing XI for the upcoming second Test against India at Edgbaston. Stokes expressed his delight at Archer’s comeback and his excitement at seeing him with the red ball. England, currently leading the series 1-0, has not yet announced the squad for the second Test, which starts on July 2. Archer’s Test statistics include 42 wickets in 13 matches. Vaughan suggests Archer should gain more experience playing red-ball cricket for Sussex before playing the Lord’s Test.
