The anticipation for the IPL 2026 player auction has intensified with the late inclusion of 19 new names, including Indian talent Abhimanyu Easwaran and international stars Ben Sears (New Zealand) and Ethan Bosch (South Africa). Easwaran, a consistent performer on the domestic circuit and previously part of the Indian national squad, is set to attract significant attention. New Zealand’s Sears brings pace bowling credentials from his Test and ODI appearances, while South Africa’s Bosch adds to the overseas player depth. The updated auction list, announced Monday evening, also features players like Virandeep Singh (Malaysia), Chris Green (Australia), Kyle Verreyanne (South Africa), and Blessing Muzarabani (Zimbabwe). This brings the total player count to 369 for the auction taking place in Abu Dhabi. The event will see ten franchises vying for top talent to fill 77 available slots, aiming to assemble formidable teams for the upcoming season.
