The high-voltage match was played at Maharaja Yadavindra Singh International Stadium in New Chandigarh, where Mumbai won the toss and scored 228 for 5 wickets while batting first. In response, the Gujarat Titans team could only manage 208 runs for 6 wickets in 20 overs.
Rohit Sharma played a match winning innings of 81 runs
For Mumbai Indians, batsman Rohit Sharma scored a brilliant 81 runs. He hit 9 fours and 4 sixes in his 50 -ball innings. During this innings, Rohit also completed his 300 sixes in the IPL.
