Novak Djokovic secured a spot in the semifinals of the US Open 2025, with former India captain MS Dhoni in attendance at Arthur Ashe Stadium. Djokovic defeated Taylor Fritz in their quarterfinal match, winning in four sets: 6-3, 7-5, 3-6, and 6-4. Dhoni was seen at the second men’s singles quarterfinal in New York. Hitesh Sanghvi, a businessman, shared a photo and video of Dhoni at the match on Instagram. Djokovic, despite playing a less extensive schedule, has consistently reached at least the semifinals of the four Grand Slams. His next challenge will be against Carlos Alcaraz. Djokovic holds a 5-3 lead in their head-to-head record. At 22 years old, Alcaraz has already reached nine Grand Slam semifinals.
