In a high-scoring clash during the Delhi Premier League (DPL) 2025, East Delhi Riders showcased an incredible performance, successfully chasing down a target of 232 runs against Outer Delhi Warriors. Outer Delhi Warriors, after losing the toss and batting first, posted a score of 231/7 in their 20 overs. Priyansh Arya played a spectacular innings of 111 runs from 56 balls, marked by a strike rate of 198, including seven boundaries and nine sixes. Karan Garg and Shivam Sharma made valuable contributions with 43 runs off 24 balls and an unbeaten 16 off 9 balls respectively. East Delhi Riders experienced a shaky start during their chase. However, Arpit Rana and Anuj Rawat orchestrated a match-turning partnership. Arpit scored a well-composed 79 off 45 balls, featuring eight boundaries and four sixes. Anuj Rawat was even more dominant, scoring 84 runs off a mere 35 balls, inclusive of two fours and an impressive nine sixes, with a strike rate of 240. Mayank Rawat’s late flourish of 32 runs from 12 balls ensured East Delhi reached the target in 19.2 overs, culminating in a memorable victory for the team.
