Shubman Gill, the captain of the Indian Test team, and veteran batsman Ruturaj Gaikwad will play in the Duleep Trophy. Ruturaj Gaikwad will play for the West Zone team, captained by Shardul Thakur. Shubman Gill, who performed brilliantly with the bat in England, will lead the North Zone team in the Duleep Trophy. The first match of the tournament, which will be held from August 28th to 31st, will feature North Zone facing East Zone, captained by Ishan Kishan. North East Zone will compete against Central Zone, led by Dhruv Jurel. The Duleep Trophy final will be played from September 11th to 15th. All matches will be held at the BCCI Center of Excellence.
