After years of wearing the Indian jersey with pride and passion, the time has come for me to reflect on my cricket journey. I announce my retirement from all formats of cricket. I have played top-level cricket for India and feel very honored. Thank you to all the teammates, coaches, selectors, and support staff.” Further, she wrote, “Cricket will always remain within me. Although my playing career is over, my love for the sport is greater than ever. I am keen to contribute to the sport in new ways, to inspire, guide, and serve the game. This isn’t a retirement, but the end of a golden chapter.”
