
Arjun Tendulkar, the son of former Indian cricket icon Sachin Tendulkar, recently announced his engagement to Sania Chandok. The engagement ceremony was held on Wednesday and included close family and friends. Sania is associated with a well-known Mumbai business family; she is the granddaughter of Ravi Ghai, whose family is a major player in the hotel and hospitality industry. The Ghai family owns the InterContinental Hotel and the Brooklyn Creamery ice cream brand. Sania is a partner and director at Mr. Paws Pet Spa & Store in Mumbai and has 805 followers on Instagram. Arjun’s sister, Sara Tendulkar, also follows her.
As a cricketer, Arjun is a left-arm medium-pace bowler. He plays for Goa in domestic cricket. His record includes 17 first-class matches, 18 List A matches, and 24 T20 matches. He has 37 wickets in Test cricket, 25 wickets in List A, and 27 wickets in T20 matches. In terms of batting, he has scored 532 runs in first-class cricket and 102 runs in List A.
Arjun Tendulkar’s Cricket Journey: Arjun made his Ranji Trophy debut on December 13, 2022, for Goa against Rajasthan in Porvorim. He scored 120 runs off 207 balls while batting at number seven in the first innings. His first IPL wicket came on April 18, 2023, at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad. He dismissed Bhuvneshwar Kumar in the 20th over of a match between Mumbai Indians and Sunrisers Hyderabad. The catch was taken by Rohit Sharma. In a subsequent IPL match, he took another wicket, dismissing Prabhsimran Singh, but gave away 48 runs in three overs. Arjun was purchased by Mumbai Indians for 30 lakh rupees in the 2025 IPL mega auction; however, he did not get a chance to play any matches for the team captained by Hardik Pandya this season.
