Samsung has announced it will stop providing software updates for certain older Galaxy smartphone models. This decision signifies that owners of these phones will not receive future security patches, meaning any vulnerabilities discovered will not be addressed. This move impacts devices released in 2021, as their update timelines have now concluded.
Specifically, the Samsung Galaxy A22, Galaxy F22, Galaxy M42 5G, and Galaxy M32 are among the models affected. These phones last received the Android 13 update two years ago. Users still using these devices will need to upgrade their phones.
