Apple is experiencing substantial growth in India, with sales reaching approximately $9 billion (around 80,000 crore rupees) in the fiscal year 2025. This success is largely attributed to the popularity of its premium devices, especially the iPhone. Revenue experienced a 13% increase by March 2025, with the iPhone sales contributing a major part. The first half of 2025 saw Apple shipping 5.9 million units in India, which is a 21.5% increase from the previous year. Apple is expanding its retail presence in India, with new stores recently opened in Bangalore and Pune, and more planned for Noida and Mumbai in 2026. Furthermore, Apple is significantly expanding its manufacturing operations in India, increasing local production of iPhones.
