OpenAI has unveiled ChatGPT Go, a new subscription tier that provides users in India with a more affordable way to access premium features of its AI chatbot, ChatGPT. The subscription, priced at ₹399 per month, offers significant upgrades compared to the free version. Key benefits include a tenfold increase in message limits, image generation capacity, and file uploads, as well as twice the memory available in the free plan. The launch was announced on X by Nick Turley. Users can subscribe to ChatGPT Go through their account settings, using either credit card or UPI for payment. The plan provides access to GPT-5, advanced image generation, expanded file uploads, and advanced data analysis. It’s important to note that features like GPT-4o and Sora video creation are not included; these are reserved for the ChatGPT Plus and Pro subscriptions, priced at ₹1999 and ₹19,900 per month, respectively.
