India now has access to Google’s AI Mode, a new search feature designed to enhance user interaction. This experimental feature allows users to formulate detailed and extensive questions and receive consolidated answers derived from web results, real-time data, and contextual insights. Having undergone testing in the United States, the tool is now accessible via Google Labs in India and currently supports the English language. The AI Mode is built on a tailored version of Gemini 2.5, Google’s in-house language model, which simplifies complex search requests. Instead of needing to conduct multiple searches, users can now pose a single comprehensive question and get an elaborate response. The feature supports voice input and image uploads for added convenience. This update became available on June 24, 2025, and can be accessed through the Google app or the dedicated Labs interface.
